Palliative Care Research Conference (All Student Events)
Description: The Palliative Care Research Conference is open to anyone who is conducting or interested in Palliative Care research. It is a forum for discussing and getting feedback on Palliative Care research-in-progress. Meetings consist of a 30 minute prelude for members to discuss on-going research, followed by the feature presenter’s talk. They are held on the first Wednesday of every month 2-3:30pm [on AMC in AO1, room 8101 or via web-conference]. To sign up to present, contact Jean Kutner (Jean.Kutner@ucdenver.edu). Description: The Literature of Prescription exhibit is based on Charlotte Perkins Gilman’s short story "The Yellow Wall-Paper". The short story examines a nineteenth-century writer's challenge to the medical profession as Gilman was discouraged from pursuing a career in order to preserve her health. The exhibit was developed and produced by the National Library of Medicine, National Institutes of Health and will be on display in the Library’s Gallery from July 11 – August 21, 2010.

In conjunction with the traveling exhibit from the National Library of Medicine The Literature of Prescription: Charlotte Perkins Gilman and The Yellow Wall-Paper. The exhibit was developed and produced by the National Library of Medicine, National Institutes of Health and will be on display in the Library’s Gallery from July 11 – August 21, 2010
