Wireless and Remote Access

Several methods are available to you for accessing the campus network depending on your affiliation:

Wireless
Wireless access is available on campus for eligible customers (UCD students, faculty, staff, and sponsored users). Please call the Help Desk.

Remote Access - VPN
Eligible customers (DC students, faculty, staff and sponsored users, HSC faculty, staff, and sponsored users) can access the campus network from home or work using your high-speed Internet service if you use VPN to establish a secure connection. To request VPN service, please call the Help Desk at your location:

The Help Desk can email instructions to you for setting up and using VPN on your personal computer. Please note that these instructions can only be sent to an official UCD email address.
